We strongly urge you to avoid aerosol sunscreens.  Spray sunscreens cause discoloration and staining.  The culprit seems to be an ingredient called avobenzone.  Research suggests that some lotions still cause staining but this may be one of your safest bet for safe skin and safe swimwear:
